Arrive Delhi
After a late-evening arrival, you'll transfer to your hotel. Delhi stands as the capital of modern India, though it is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries.

Explore Delhi
Red Fort
The most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city.

Raj Ghat
The impressive and emotional memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

Mughal Garden
The famous Mughal Gardens is located in the premises of the Rashtrapati Bhavan - the official residence of the President of India. The building and gardens designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens span an area of about 320 acres that include Colourful flowering shrubs and European flower beds. The gardens comprise of the Rectangular Garden, Long Garden and the Circular Garden. The Rectangular Garden is the formal garden, which derived its treatment from the water-gardens which the Mughals brought into Delhi. The small flower beds, the four waterways and mown lawns produce a virtual paradise. The gardens are open to the public from February to March every year.

India Gate
It is primarily a memorial to the unknown soldier, which was Designed by Lutyens. The 42 metre high structure is a war memorial in honour of the soldiers who died during the second world war. The imposing structure from where stretch massive lush green lawns has an eternal flame (Amar Jawan Jyoti) to honour the memory of the unknown soldiers.

Qutub Minar
One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture is the Qutab Minar. A soaring tower of victory that was started in 1193, immediately after the defeat of the last hindu kingdom in Delhi.

Humayun Tomb
A Wonderful example of early Mughal Architecture, the Humayun's Tomb was built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal.

Amber Palace

City Palace

Jantar Mantar
An accurate observatory built in 1726.It contains 13 different instruments for calculating such things as the time of day, the altitudes of heavenly bodies, and the positions of constellations. Explore Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park
The 392 sq. km. Park comprises of dry deciduous forests sprawling over an undulating terrain of the Aravalli and Vindhyan ranges .The park is one of the finest tiger reserve in the country under the Project Tiger. Ranthambhor sanctuary has a large number of sambhar, chital. Nilgai, chinkara, langur , wild boar and peafowl. A system of three pretty artificial lakes-Padam Talab, Rajbagh and Milak Talab, along with a number of anicuts are part of the biosphere. Besides enhancing the scenic beauty of the Park, they are an important source of water for the inhabitants of the park. The local fauna of the park includes leopard, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, sloth bear and a little population of pythons.

The Fort
Ranthambhor's royal past manifests itself in the well-preserved imposing fort, built in 994 A.D. atop a steep high creek 200 metres above sea level. Ruined pavilions, walls, chhatris and splendid monuments are interspersed within the majestic fort. An 8th century A.D. Ganesh temple on an open land attracts thousands of devotees and is the venue for an annual fair held on. Bhadrapad Sudi Chaturthi, fourth day of the bright half, in the month of Bhadra.

Sariska ( En Route)
Famous for the Sariska tiger reserve park is just 110 kms from Jaipur. This sanctuary can be visited year - round. There are estimated 25 tigers in Sariska and the number is said to be on increase. Apart from tigers this sanctuary also consists of leopards, hyenas, wild boars, blue bulls, sambars, spotted dear and around 300 hundred species of birds.

The best way to visit the park is through jeep.

Mehrangarh fort
This majestic fort sprawled across a 125 hill, is one of the most impressive and formidable structures. Within the fort are some magnificent palaces with marvelously carved panels, latticed windows and evocative names. These palaces house a fabulous collection of trappings of Indian royalty including a superb collection of palanquins, elephant howdahs, miniature paintings of various schools, musical instruments, costumes and furniture.

Jaswant Thada
A white marble memorial situated about 400m northeast of the fort. You will get enticed by the beautiful marble lattice work and the carved wooden doors of the cenotaph.

Umaid Bhawan Palace
Built in 20th Century, this palace is a splendid example of indo-colonial style of 30s. This opulent edifice in sandstone is still the residence of the former rulers with a part of it running as hotel and remaining part as a museum.

Madore

Explore Udaipur
City Palace
A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenelated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The main entrance is through the triple arched gate, the 'Tripolia' with eight marble porticos. The Maharana were weighed under the gate in the gold, the equivalent amount of which was distributed among the populace.

Saheliyon Ki Bari
This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiseled kiosks and marble elephants.

Pratap Memorial
A top the Moti nagri or pearl hill, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake is the memorial of the Rajput hero Maharana Pratap with a bronze statue of the Maharana.

Jagdish Temple
Built in 1651 A.D. By Maharana Jagat Singh, this Indo-Aryan temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with noteworthy sculpted images.

Gulab Bagh
A spectacular rose garden laid out by Maharana Sajjan Singh. A library in the garden has a rare collection of ancient handwritten manuscripts and books.

Sajjan Garh Palace
Dominating the city's skyline is the monsoon palace of Sajjangarh.It offers a panoramic overview of the city's lakes, palaces and the surrounding countryside.

Fateh Sagar
A beautiful lake, overlooked by a number of hills on the three sides and the Pratap Memorial on the north was built by Maharana Fateh Singh. In the middle of the lake is Nehru Park-a lovely garden island with a boat shaped café accessible by an enjoyable boat ride.

Pichola Lake
The picturesque lake that entranced Maharaja Udai Singh. It was later enlarged by the founder. The lake is surrounded by hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and embankments. Two island palaces, Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas(Lake Palace) on the lake are of breathtaking.

Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum
The interesting collection exhibited by this Indian folk arts museum includes folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings.

Jaisamand Sanctuary
Jaisamand Sanctuary is situated 50 kms south of Udaipur the picturesque city of lakes verdant valleys and hills. It is on the bank of Jaisamand Lake, the second largest artificial Lake in Asia.The leopard, hyena, jungle cat, fox and wolf are among the carnivores of the sanctuary. Other wildlife here includes sambar, chital, langur and chinkara. The Jaisamand lake is the abode of crocodiles, turtles and a variety of fish. Various species of terrestrial and water-birds can also be seen here.

Explore Pushkar
Temples
Pushkar boasts temples, through few are as ancient pilgrimage site many were destroyed by Aurangzeb and subsequently rebuilt. The most famous is what is said to be the only temple in India dedicated to Brahma. It's marked by a red spire and over the entrance gateway is the Hans, or goose symbol, of Brahma, who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as its site. The Rangji Temple chosen is also important. The one - hour trek up to the hilltop temple overlooking the lake is best made early in the morning; the view is magnificent.

Ghats
Numerous ghats run down to the lake, and pilgrims are constantly bathing in the lake's holy waters. If you wish to join them, do it with respect - remove your shoes, don't smoke and don't take photographs. This is not Varanasi and the pilgrims here can be very touchy about insensitive instruction by non - Hindus.

Ajmer (En Route)
Ajmer can be visited on the way from either Udaipur to Pushkar or Pushkar to Jaipur. The main attraction of this city is the Ajmer Sharif where the Urs festival is held every year according to the lunar calender. While in Ajmer one can also visit the Adhai - din - ka - jhonpra, Akbar Palace, Nasiyan Temple and many more interesting places.

Return to Delhi
You'll drive back to Delhi. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city on your own.
